Rob's Competition Shooting Training Log
A log of my return to competition shooting after shoulder surgery, diabetes, and eye surgery
Entry for June 15, 2007
I have been flirting with the idea of selling off my Bullseye gear and focusing on the International shooting disciplines exclusively. If not for the relative dearth of competitive opportunities, I probably would have pulled the trigger on this idea already. Of course, hasty judgements are usually poor judgements - better to mull things over until the end of the summer season.

Nothing against Bullseye shooting in and of itself, this is simply a matter of logistics—I do not have the time or resources to pursue all of my interests. At some point, it will be time to take a hard look and decide where to concentrate my efforts. Shooting three guns is a major pain in the ass, and having to reload precision ammo is a compound fracture of a PITA. It is entirely possible that I might be happier shooting only smallbore precision events, where match-quality ammo is an on-line order away, and reserving my reloading and centerfire competition activities to IDPA-style shooting, which is also a lot of fun. Something to consider.
