I've mounted a Millett SP-2 on the Pardini-from-hell. I wasn't crazy about the balance of this setup last time I tried it, but I had Truglo on the brain at the time. I'm going to test this rig out tomorrow. If all goes well, I may be able to shoot another 2700 this weekend. I am itching to erase the 511 I shot in Centerfire last Sunday!
On another note, I picked up a piece of Red Oak today for a couple of bucks. I am going to take a stab at making a new grip for my Daisy 717. Once upon a time, Don Nygord published a "how-to" document that detailed his modifications to this air pistol. I am going to implement all of his recommendations as soon as I can get around to it. I can't find my drill press, which is a problem for now, but not insoluble. My goal is to set up a 500 gram trigger, better rear sight, and better grip and see how far that takes me. If I can finish the project for under $100, I figure it is worth the effort. Any more than that, I'll just buy an IZH-46M!
