Rob's Competition Shooting Training Log
A log of my return to competition shooting after shoulder surgery, diabetes, and eye surgery
Entry for June 18, 2006

I shot the .22 match at South River today.

I must be the dopiest SOB that ever shot a Bullseye match. I mentioned a couple days ago that I was training indoors. At 50 feet. I forgot to sight the gun in for the outdoor match - BIG SURPRISE in Slow Fire, I'll tell you.

How does a nice group a hands-breadth low sound to you? It sound like a whopping 52 point target to me Image So much for progress out of the Marksman ranks - my best effort of the day was a 191 - 5X in Timed Fire. Score for the match was a 758, IIRC.

Not a great result, but still a success - NO ALIBIS!! Image I'll be better prepared next time ...
